Coaching Staff
Jim Rymarcsuk
Assistant Coach (All Levels)

Coach Rymarcsuk joined the BHS girls lacrosse program this year. He resides in Lake Zurich with his wife, Kristen, and their two daughters, Rebecca (16 - Goalie at LZHS) and Lizzie (14 - Goalie for LZ Youth Lacrosse). A DuPage County native, he graduated from Addison Trail High School and later attended the College of DuPage, where he pursued a degree in graphic design and business management.

Coach Rymarcsuk's coaching career began in 2009 with the Lake Zurich Lacrosse Club, an organization founded in an effort to bring the sport of lacrosse to the Lake Zurich community. Through the application of Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) standards, the club strives to develop not only better athletes but also better people. The PCA's mission is to transform the youth sports culture into a 'Development Zone' where all youth and high school athletes have a positive, character-building experience. He continues to be active in the Youth Girls Lacrosse program in Lake Zurich, and has coached in Barrington's youth program as well.

In addition to being a US Lacrosse Level 2 Certified Coach and a US Lacrosse Trained Goalie Coach, Coach Rymarcsuk is certified as a Positive Coaching Alliance Double Goal Coach. As a certified Double Goal Coach, Coach Rymarcsuk strives to win while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports; i.e. the double goal being 'better athletes, better people'. In 2016, Coach Rymarcsuk was appointed as a Selector for the Brine Classic National Team. As a Selector he participated in the selection process by which the top players and coaches are chosen to represent their state. He was also a Selector for the Under Armor Highlight Team in 2016 and 2017.

Charles Solomon
Varsity Head Coach

Coach Solomon is excited to lead BHS Girls Lacrosse program this season. He will strive to prepare the athletes transition to an IHSA sanctioned sport in 2018. His move to BHS is a continuation of a successful coaching career spanning thirteen (13) years. He grew up on the North Side of Chicago and in Highland Park until moving to Connecticut for high school and college. Once on the East Coast he was introduced to what he views as "the greatest sport anyone can play," lacrosse. It sparked in him a passion for teaching, playing, and watching "The Creator's Game". His coaching has earned him recognition by the Illinois High School Women's Lacrosse Association (IHSWLA): four finalist nominations for Head Varsity Coach of the Year, and one for Positive Coach of the Year. He was the 2011 US Lacrosse Women's National Team Illinois Coach. Currently he is the only Illinois high school coach with a US Lacrosse Level 3 Coaching Certification for women's lacrosse. Prior to the BHS program, Coach Solomon spent 4 seasons as Varsity Head Coach at Maine South HS, where he elevated the program to Central Suburban Sectional Champions (2015), and Super Sectional Champions (2016), finishing ranked #4 in the state. Before that he was Head Varsity Coach at Wheaton Warrenville South/Wheaton North United Co-op. He was recognized by the IHSWLA for his achievements, and nominated as a finalist for "Rookie Varsity Coach of the Year". His coaching career began in 2003 as Hinsdale Central's JV coach, leading his team to two Wildcat Classic JV Tournament Championships.
