Cullen's Hat Trick Helps the Chargers Beat Beecher
The Chargers were looking for their 3rd Twin Valley victory against Beecher on Tuesday. Beecher was getting the best of the Chargers in the early going earning 5 shots in the first 15 minutes to none for the Chargers. After some lineup changes, the Chargers started rolling. Josh Cullens put the Chargers on the board with the first goal of his hat trick on an assist from Kyle Gould. Cullens would score again on a wayward cross that bent toward the net and hit the post before it bounced in. Josh McPherson notched the Chargers 3rd goal of the half with only 8 seconds remaining on a rebound shot. In the second half, the Chargers kept up the pressure with Cullens scoring on another Gould assist. The Bobcats notched a late goal to cap the scoring. The Chargers record is now 6-5-1 and 3-3 in Twin Valley action.
