The Chargers hosted Gardner South Wilmington in a River Valley Conference match. The Chargers took the lead early and were up 15-7 only to let GSW come back to within 2 after a 5 point serving run to make the score 18-16. The Chargers were able to finish strong after Madison Peters served for 3 straight points to put the Chargers back up by 6 and they took the first set 25-19. The second set was close for the first 10 points and then GSW slowly started pulling away and the Chargers lost the second set 17-25. The Chargers found themselves in a 6-0 hole to start the third set, but kept fighting. That lead, though, was the difference and they dropped the third set and the match 19-25. All the girls played well and fought through many rallies. Defensively, the girls worked hard all night. They posted the most blocks and digs they have had all season. Isabella Biesterfeld led the way with 2 aces, 13 kills, 24 digs, a solo block and a block assist. Madison Peters had 2 aces, 9 kills, 11 digs and a block assist. Paige Biesterfeld had 1 ace, 27 assists, 5 digs and a block assist. Becca Witvoet had 2 kills, 3 digs, a solo block and a block assist. Sofia Biesterfeld had 6 kills and 7 digs. Jessie Moseley had 23 digs. Grace Adickes had 11 digs.
