The Chargers headed to Wisconsin Lutheran College to play in the Lutheran Invitational Tournament. The Chargers played tough competition all day. They started the day with 3 back to back matches. The first was against Fox Valley Lutheran and the Chargers lost 14-25; 18-25. The next match was against Shoreland Lutheran, which also resulted in a loss 20-25; 13-25. The third match of the morning session was against eventual tournament champion, Luther Prep. This match was tough and the Chargers lost 12-25; 6-25. After the lunch break, the Chargers regrouped to play an up and down match against Winnebago Lutheran Academy. The Chargers took the first set 25-13 only to struggle in the second set and lose 8-25. The deciding set was a quick one to 15 and the Chargers were able to hang on and win the set and the match 15-10. The last match of the day was against a good team from Manitowoc Lutheran. The Chargers played well the first set and won 25-23. The second set was close, but the Chargers could not hold on and lost 20-25 to force a 3rd set. The Chargers scored the first two points, but then had no answer for the strong Manitowoc attack and dropped the third set and the match 3-15; therefore ending the day 1-4. The ladies worked hard against bigger teams from much larger schools. Isabella Biesterfeld was awarded All Tournament team honors.
