The boys team is State-ranked 17th by IL Milesplit and 9th by ILXCTF; a little lean on numbers, we ran a little tired tonight...we have to learn to compete a little better when everything isn’t clicking...we will get there.
Our boys team finished 2nd overall, 20 points behind host champion Robinson. Outside of Tanner Fox, we just didn’t look sharp tonight. Tyler Guthrie finished 9th overall in 16:27, Zach Brasel was 12th in 16:37, Tanner ran 17th in 16:53 and then Elijah Burns (34)/Brandon Ahring (37) finished up our score, running 17:32 and 17:37 respectively, for 108 pts. Andrew Dupy was our 6th runner in 97th, with Noah Beltremea at 100th. Clayton Scott finished 133, Christian Logue in 189 and Mark Mueller in 203.
On the girls side, Mira McAtee medaled by running 22:35. Amelia Beltremea was the second Father McGivney runner in 25:20 running her first complete race of the season due to injury, and Bridget Weeks 25:34. Izzy Margarida ran 28:10.
