The Wave faced the Meteors of De La Salle for the first time EVER at Gregg True Field.  With its offense firing on all cylinders, the Wave jumped to a 3 goal lead in the first 13 minutes due to the "Big Three" of Franklin-Johansen-Gaston.  Leading 5-0 at half, the Wave added two more by freshman Godfrey and Sophomore Brieger to make Coach Aaron Godfrey and Coach Tim Brieger very happy on the sidelines.  Next up for the Wave is a third round match in the PepsiCo vs. the winner of the Schurz/Lakeview game.
