Another Conference Victory

The JV girls continued their conference schedule with a 2-0 victory over Bradley-Bourbonnais. The scoring started with a cross by sophomore Gina Canavan, which was redirected off of a Bradley defender, and into the back of the net. The lady Thunderbolts had a handful of more chances during the first half of the game but, due to a great performance by the Bradley keeper, the half ended 1-0. Freshmen Nicole Koppers found the back of the net early into the second half, threading through mutiple Bradley players and the defensive line to beat the keeper 1 on 1. Although there continued to be some great opportunities in the second half, none of the chances were successful and the game ended 2-0.
