The Varsity Tennis Team knew the match against Sandburg, one of the top teams in the Southland, was going to be very difficult and the final 7-0 loss reflects that challenge. Still the Andrew team gave it everything they had during their final regular season match and their spirits remained high after the contest. Both teams played extremely hard in the 1st annual Breast Cancer Awareness match between the two schools and that remained the focus no matter the final score. Both teams wore the same identical pink tie dye shirts and the theme Game-Set-Cure took on new meaning and showed the unity between the sister schools. For one day winning took a back seat to something much more important to all involved. Andrew Varsity finished the season with an 11-7 record and looks forward to the Conference Tournament.
