Limited Squad competes at Clinton Last Chance Meet
Limited numbers due to spring breakthinned the competitive field for the Maroons at the Clinton Last Chance meet but those who remained continued to show growth as they progress through the season. The girls concluded the meet with 15 personal records and three top ten list performances
The meet was started of with Dahlia Hensley establishing a PR of 18' 0.5" in her shot put debut. She followed it up with a half inch improvement two throws later to finish with a best throw of 18' 1". Esther Chung had a best throw of 21' 2.5", just a half inch shy of her lifetime best and an indoor best by 8.5".
April Gaona(9.13) and Tyrelle Lyons(9.39) both established personal records in the 60m dash and claim the #9 and #10 spots respectively on the junior top ten list for the event. Diana Golmeeva set a PR in the first 200m(31.04) of her 400m. In the 800m Shannon Tang set personal records in the first 200m(37.54), first 400m(1:17.94), and in the overall distance(2:39.84) and also claimed the #9 spot on the junior list for the event. Grace Shirley established an indoor best of 7:28.84 in the 1600m.
The relays brought seven PRs to the meet. Alyssa Odom(2:43.7), April Gaona(2:48.4), and Jiwoo Kim(3:13.8) set PRs in the 4x800. In the 4x400 closed out the meet with four Personal Records; set by Diana Golmeeva(1:10.1), Erin Durkuan(1:17.6)Elizabeth Asmussen(1:22.7), and.Ally Welty Peachey(1:25.3)

The team has completed the 2018 indoor campaign and will begin the outdoor portion of the season in a coed dual meet against Monticello on Tuesday March 27th in Monticello.
