Grayslake Central Rams Varsity defeated Rolling Meadows 16-1 on Friday thanks in part to Grace Bradley, who drove in seven runners.  Bradley drove in runs on a fielder's choice in the first, a groundout in the second, a home run in the fifth, and a home run in the sixth.

 

Grayslake Central Rams Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning.  Bradley hit into a fielder's choice, scoring one run.

 

Grayslake Central Rams Varsity notched seven runs in the sixth inning.  Grayslake Central Rams Varsity's big inning was driven by singles by Ashlynn Coleman, Elisa Koshy, and Lexi Waigand, a home run by Bradley, and a double by Nicole Buerger.

 

Bradley got the win for Grayslake Central Rams Varsity. She allowed five hits and one run over six innings, striking out four and walking zero.

 

Kelsie Campbell took the loss for Rolling Meadows. She lasted six innings, allowing 21 hits and 16 runs while striking out two.

 

Grayslake Central Rams Varsity launched three home runs on the day. Koshy had a four bagger in the second inning. Bradley put one out in the fifth and sixth innings.

 

Grayslake Central Rams Varsity saw the ball well today, racking up 21 hits in the game.  Koshy, Morgan Smigielski, Waigand, Brooke Heraty, Libby Bien, and Bradley all managed multiple hits for Grayslake Central Rams Varsity.  Koshy went 5-for-5 at the plate to lead Grayslake Central Rams Varsity in hits.

 

Mallory King led Rolling Meadows with two hits in three at bats.
