Basketball and Wrestling Registration Open

Attention all basketball players or wrestlers.  Registration is now open for the 2018-2019 winter season.  Athletes must register on 8to18 (, have a current physical on file and pay the $150.00 athletic fee.  Athletes will not be able to participate in tryouts/practices without registration, physical and payment completed.  Girls basketball must be done by Monday, October 29th and boys basketball and wrestling must be done by Monday, November 5th.  Any questions, please contract Tracy Walton in the Athletic office at

2018-2019 Competitive Cheer and Dance Registration Opened

Attention anyone interested in trying out for the competitive cheer or dance team for the 2018-2019 winter season.  There will be clinics on Tuesday, October 23rd 3:15-5:30 for dance and 4:00-6:00 pm for cheer and on Wednesday, October 24th dance at 3:15-5:30 pm and cheer from 4:45-6:45 pm.  Tryouts will be on Thursday, October 25th starting at 4:00 pm.  Athletes will sign up for a time slot at clinics on Tuesday.  Athletes must register on 8to18 ( before Monday, October 22nd, have a current physical on file and pay the $150.00 athletic fee.  Athlete will not be able to participate in clinics or tryouts without registration, physical and payment completed.  If you have any questions, please contact head dance coach, Mrs. Erfort ( or head cheer coach, Mrs. Panvino (

District 300 Athletic Event Procedures Reminder

Hampshire High School has implemented the following changes to policies and procedures regarding its athletic and event facilities.  These changes were made in keeping with safety and security as our top priority, as well as to provide the best experience for community users of our facilities.

Hampshire Event Expectations (for all attendees at extracurricular events)
  • No outside food or beverages will be allowed;
  • Bags/purses are subject to search;
  • No re-entry allowed once exiting the facility (you must re-pay to re-enter);
  • Elementary and middle school students need to have a parent in attendance with the student to enter  the Stadium or any other competition site;
  • No footballs, soccer balls, basketballs or any other sporting equipment  are allowed in the Stadium, or any other competition site, thus no game play or horseplay is allowed;
  • Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. for football games;
  • Good sportsmanship is an expectation on, and off, the field.

JV Boys Swim win vs. DeKalb

Congratulations to the D300 swim team for their win yesterday vs. DeKalb.  JV won 118 to 46.  Hampshire JV swimmers  PJ Brandonisio placed 1st in the 200 yard Medley Relay with Jacob Surprise and Jacob Foy placed in 2nd and David Higgins and Noah Carignan in 3rd.  Jacob Surprise placed 2nd in the 200 yard freestyle with Jack Van Wiel close behind in 3rd.  Jacob Foy placed 4th in the 50 yard freestyle; Jack Van Wiel won 2nd in the 500 yard freestyle and was on the 1st place team in the 200 yard freestyle relay with PJ Brandonisio and Jacob Foy finishing 2nd.  Jacob Surprise finished 2nd and PJ Brandonisio 4th in the 100 yard backstroke; Kyle White placed 4th and Noah Carignan 5th in the 100 yard backstroke.  PJ was also on the 1st place team in the 400 yard freestyle relay with David Higgins and Kyle White placed 3rd and Jacob Foy and Royce Pataras in 4th.  Great job!
