JV Football Defeated by Sandwich in Final Home Game

The Lions fell to 1-7 on the season after a tough 22-14 loss to the Indians.  Lisle will travel to Coal City on Friday for their final game of the season.  The offense was led by sophomore Zach Webber who took over the reins at quarterback after the injury to starter Abe Payne.  Zach performed well but the Lions fell just short in the end.  Kahari Daniels tallied the first score of the game on a 12-yard rushing touchdown giving the Lions a brief 6-0 lead in the first.  Sandwich took a 16-6 lead into half and scored again in the third quarter to take a 22-6 lead heading into the fourth quarter.  Lisle scored on a 4-yard run by Cole Campbell to make it 22-14 but couldn't recover the ensuing onside kick.
