The attached spiritwear form includes items for players for practice, game gear, general spiritwear for daily use, mom and dad spiritwear and anyone else who loves the St Francis Girls Lacrosse team.
Note: The Ogio Endurance warm up jacket will be provided as team-wear to every player. The jackets will be ordered as players register. Please send me a text tp 630 329-4010 or an email with the players name and jacket size when you have completed their registration.
New players are asked to purchase the Holloway Aggression jacket as a part of their spiritwear ordering. All returning players have this sideline jacket and we'd like all players to have the same sideline gear. Players will need to submit their own order form for this jacket.
If you are new to spiritwear ordering- please print the attached form, complete the info at the top, select items and quantities, indicate any customization requested (ex- name), total the order, write a check made out to St Francis, deliver the order form and the check to the front office to my attention-Coach Nesbitt. Orders generally take 3 weeks for delivery. Plan accordingly.
Players must have a mouthguard for practices and games. They cannot be white or clear and cannot have any jutting plastic in the front. Its a good idea to get new mouthguards each season (they get moldy, full of germs and generally yucky). Please also buy a back-up in case the first is lost.
Goggles and Sticks: We have some loaner sticks and goggles for players to use. Players are welcome to use the loaner items as supplies last. If purchasing new sticks- please make sure to choose an appropriate stick (no junior sticks- no boys sticks). Tama Lacrosse in Naperville is a great resource for information and options before buying.
Cleats: Rubber cleats are needed for good traction even on the turf fields.
Helmets: Helmets are still optional in the Girls game. The school will have 2 Hummingbird helmets and 2 Cascade Girls helmets for players who want to try a helmet. If you are set on your player wearing a helmet I suggest that you purchase your own helmet. Make sure to get either the Hummingbird or the Cascade helmet for Girls. These are the only 2 approved for use. Please do your research as well. Too often parents believe that helmets prevent concussions. They do not. They protect from random injuries to the head and they can reduce the severity of hits to the head.
