Team Stats

Key Club is a service organization for high school students sponsored by a local Kiwanis Club of leading professional business people. It operates under school regulations and draws its membership from the student body. Key Club develops initiative, leadership ability, and good citizenship practices. There is also a district and an international level, which are highly developed and uniquely structured, and provide Key Clubbers the opportunity to relate to teenagers from all across North America and the Caribbean.

Election of Officers

Election of new officers (president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and bulletin editor) should be held at a meeting in February and they should take office in May.

Election of directors (one from each class) shall be held at the first meeting following the opening of school in the fall.

All officers and directors who are members in good standing shall be eligible for re-election.

Election Procedures

First Election Meeting Day:

Open nominations submitted. Someone seconds the motion. The nominee accepts the nomination.

Second Election Meeting Day:

Open nominations submitted. Someone seconds the motion. The nominee accepts the nomination.

Third Election Meeting Day:

All nominees present a speech explaining why they want the position. The voting period begins.

Fourth Election Meeting Day:

The voting period ends. All votes including absentee ballots are submitted.

Fifth Election Meeting Day:

The positions for the new officers are announced. The new officers shadow the current officers until they officially assume their positions on May 1.
