The Chargers took on the Peotone Blue Devils on Wednesday in Peotone. The Chargers seemed to control the ball and maintain possession a bit better than the Blue Devils early on, however, it was the quick counter and long ball that burned the Chargers twice in the first 20 minutes of play. The Blue Devils made good on both chances and were up 2-0. Eli Dorn put the Chargers on the board a few minutes later with a blast from 25 yards out. The Blue Devils added another goal just before the half to take a 3-1 lead. The Chargers threatened early in the second half, but the Blue Devils again scored on a counter attack to go up 4-1. The Chargers would earn plenty of good chances but could not convert another goal. James Radtke was outstanding in the net for the Chargers who are now 7-12-1.
