LT Boys Swim Team Defeat the Dolphins
Lane Tech - Congratulations to the Lane Tech Boys Swim team for getting off to a great start for their 2021 season. After defeating Taft a few days prior, they delivered another great win over Whitney Young with varsity winning 87-82 over the Dolphins.
The Lane Tech boys varsity team was victorious in the 200-meter medley relay, winning by 0.04 seconds versus Whitney. They also won the 100-meter freestyle, 500-meter freestyle, 100-meter butterfly, 200-meter IM (individual medley), and 100-meter breaststroke. Lastly, Butters (Sr), Trotter (Sr), and Galaczynski (Jr) secured the win for Lane in the 400-meter free relay. “We were extremely proud and happy with the win over a rival school, especially considering we weren’t participating in all of our normal events.” -Gunnar Kirk
The Lane Tech boys varsity beat out rival Whitney Young in a close finish, showing they’ll be a force to reckon with this season! Great job boys and good luck Monday, March 1st against Jones-Payton!
