Lane is Victorious Against Rival Lincoln Park

Lane Tech Stadium - Lane Tech JV Soccer continues their winning streak with a victory against Lincoln Park on Monday afternoon. They shut out LP in the 4-0 victory. They played great defense and had many opportunities on the offensive side of the ball.

Their defense was lead by John Durack and Matthew Mendoza who stopped many of Lincoln Park’s chances. Lane controlled the ball for most of the game. Lane’s goalkeeper, Jeremiah Higgins, also made a few key saves to keep LP off of the board.

On offense, Lane was dominant and capitalized on their opportunities. Junior, Aryslan Guevara, scored in this game and was a big performer on the offensive end. Ryan Bock, a standout junior, facilitated the game in the midfield with some great passes and also helped on defense.

Niko Wahl for Lincoln Park played a great game and stopped a few of Lane’s chances. His success could not hold back the aggressive offense of the Lane Tech Soccer team.

This game capped off a great season for Lane. They did not lose all year. The veteran presence of Juniors on the team led the way. These players will make an impact on varsity next year.
