Lane Tech Girls Cross Country Prevails In The Rising Runners Invitational
Lane Tech Campus- The Lane Tech girls cross country team won their meet last Thursday. The other teams that participated in the meet where Senn, Mather, Idacrown, Brooks and the Instituto Health Science Charter. The results of the high school girls was Lane ending in 1st, followed then by Senn, Mather, Idacrown, Instituto Health Science Charter and in last place was Brooks.
Lane Tech runner Maddy Meyer raced extremely well running a 13:39:6 for 2.03 miles. Another runner who performed very well was Amanda Arroyo who ran an impressive 13:53:4 from Lane. Senn runner Kamila Fomin ran a 14:16:0 in their second place finish.
Lane Tech runs again on Saturday 10/19 at Washington Park for the Chicago Public League Championships. Feel free to come out and support Lane.
