Varsity GBB Cruises to Victory
The Varsity Lady Lions played host to the Westmont Panthers yesterday afternoon and were able to come away with a thirty four to fifteen victory. The game was close in the first half as Lisle only held a nineteen to eleven lead at the break. However, some strong offensive moves by Kaityln and Kiley Ebert, along with Gracie Magis, helped the girls to widen their lead and eventually win by nineteen. Highlighting the offense in the second half was a long, no-doubt about it three-pointer by Devyn Hutchison and some great finishes at the rim by Magis and the Eberts. This win moves the girls' record to one win and one defeat heading into Wednesday's tough home matchup with the always physical Burr Ridge Chieftains.
