OHS Athletics Update:

The IHSA has today released the following information regarding 2020-21 athletics. Golf, cross country, and girls swim will be held in the traditional spot on the fall schedule. OHS golf and cross country practice will start Monday, August 10. Specific times will be announced next week.

Football, volleyball, and boys soccer have been moved to the spring, Feb 15- May 1.

Basketball, wrestling, and bowling will be attempted during the winter from Nov. 16 - Feb. 13

Baseball, softball, track, and girls soccer will be held late next spring and into the summer, May 3- June 26.

At this time, there is no determination as to junior high athletics for the 2020-21 school year. Representatives of the Rt. 72 Jr. High conference will be meeting to discuss what if any jr. high activities will be offered for this year. DLR volleyball is indefinitely postponed as of now.  

OHS athletes who wish to participate in golf or cross country this fall must have a current physical, parent consent form, and their IHSA concussion form signed and turned into the Athletic Office prior to the first practice Monday, August 10.
