Getting to know Coach Beer:
Why did you get into coaching?
"My main inspiration for coaching is seeing the growth that occurs in athletes from a personal, social, academic and athletic standpoint. I believe my main responsibility is to help guide athletes to improve in those areas. Cross-country and track & field gives every single athlete the opportunity to improve and develop. I love being apart of that growth and development."
What are your goals for your program?
"We are always looking to simply improve every year and be at our best at the end of the season. As long as we do that, the results will take care of themselves."
What is your favorite part of coaching at Solorio?
"I love the sense of community and support that is present at Solorio. Everybody is hear to truly support one another and celebrate each others successes."
