No Spectators Allowed at Cross Country Sectional 10/31/2020

Due to an uptick in Covid-19 numbers in our region we will not be allowing spectators for the competition. While this is not welcome news for many of you, please know that we have been in constant communication with the IHSA and Lake County Health Department in coming to this decision. We have, what I believe, is the best live stream crew anywhere and they are fully prepared to broadcast each race with the highest possible quality and professionalism. We have played host to 3 Friday invites, Conference Championship and Regional. Please take a moment to view the video link below. Boys' Cross Country Advance to Sectionals/Cortney Kriens Qualified for the Girls

Congratulations to the entire Boys Varsity team for advancing to sectionals! The team finished 3rd at a very close regional. Isai Morales and Aidan Gonzalez led the way with 2nd and 5th place finishes. The Girls team’s season came to an end. Coaches are extremely proud of all our runners. Congratulations to Cortney Kriens who qualified individually for sectionals!

Winter Sports Registration OPEN

Winter Sports Online Registration for 2020-2021 is now open. Please go to 8to18 to register for boys’ basketball, girls’ basketball, competitive cheerleading, competitive dance, boys' swim and wrestling.  A physical is required for participation.  All athletes must provide their own water bottle and masks.  Any questions, please contact Mrs. Walton in the Athletic office.

Please know that at this time we do NOT know if any or all winter sports will be played.  We are still waiting for direction from the IHSA and will update as soon as we have heard.

HHS Boosters Painting Parties

Painting Parties – Copper Barrel

Hampshire Booster Club is hosting four painting parties at Copper Barrel as a fundraiser to promote a “Paint Your Athlete’s Sport.”

Time: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
(flexible start time)
Cost: $45 per person (Paint and Appetizers)

$10.00 Sports Physical from Ortho Illinois

OrthoIllinois Walk-In Injury Express is offering $10.00 sports physicals starting July 20th through the school year at the following locations.  All fees collected will be donated back to the Hampshire HS Athletic Department at the end of the year.

Injury Express - 650 S. Randall Road, Algonquin.  Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday-Sunday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Injury Express (McHenry Opening 8/3/20) 4119 W. Shamrock Road, McHenry.  Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 8:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

FALL ONLINE ATHLETIC REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

 

PARENTS, TO REGISTER ONLINE FOR SEASON SPORTS ONLY, PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS

To register online use the following instructions:

  • Go to https://dundeecrown.8to18.com (no www.)
  • Click on “Create An Account” and enter your own email and create your own password. (Please be sure to remember this password as you will use this for the years to come for all of your children.).
  • Click on “Begin Registration”
  • “Select Activity”
    • Choose the sport your child will be trying for/participating in.
  • “Select Participant”
    • Add a New Participant (or choose your child once created)
    •  All information on this page is for the student, i.e. cell phone, email
  •  “Roster Details”
    • You may be asked for t shirt size
    • Height and Weight will be used for rosters
  • “Primary Parent/Guardian Information”
    • Fill out the Parent information on the next page.
  • “Physical Form”
    • If you need a form to take to the doctor you may print it here.
    • Remember your athlete must have a current physical in order to begin tryouts/practice.
  • “Legal Form”
    • At this time by clicking on the boxes, you are agreeing and consenting to all information provided.
    • You may click on the form to read or print. Please note that when there is a parent/guardian and student check box- they must both be checked to move forward.
    • Please DO NOT turn in any forms filled out.
