DuPage County to Tier 2
For IC Catholic Prep, dance and bowling can start as soon as possible.
Dance is scheduled for their first practice on Thursday, January 21st at IC Gym.
On Monday, January 25th Bowlero-Glendale Heights will re-open for business allowing our bowling team to start practice.
All other sports can begin contact days on Monday, January 25th. Please see the chart below for more information on your sports’ allowable actions. We are in Tier 2.
We will know more from the IHSA Board of Directors meeting on Wednesday, January 27th on what we should expect moving forward for our season schedules.
On Friday, January 22 the IDPH has changed the chart below to allow for High Risk sports to compete intra-conference and intra EMS/COVID Regino
Below are the Type of Play Levels:
Level 1 |
No-contact practices, and trainings only |

Intra-team scrimmages allowed, with parental consent for minors; no competitive play |
Level 3 |
Intra-conference or Intra-EMS-region or intra-league play/meets only; state- or league-championship game/meet allowed for low-risk sports only |
Level 4 |
Tournaments, out-of-conference/league play, out-of-state play allowed; championship games allowed |
The following Levels of Play are allowed according to sport risk and current mitigation tier:
