The ILHS Chargers took on Beecher in a conference rival matchup featuring the top two sophomores in the conference. The Bobcats pulled away in the 2nd quarter to take an 11 point lead into half. The Chargers chipped away at the lead in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 7 at the end of the third quarter. The Chargers made a run to take the lead with less than a minute and a half to go. Unfortunately the Chargers missed several free throws in the last two minutes and failed to extend the lead while the Bobcats made theirs. The Chargers lost 53-51 in a very well played and hard fought game. Tommy Zimmer led the Chargers with 11 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and a steal. Dwan Westmoreland added 9 points and 6 rebounds and Eli Dorn had 8 points and 6 rebounds.
