Lancer  Families,
We are excited to welcome back full winter sports without spectator capacity limits for the first time since the 2019-2020 season! All of us at Lake Park are so grateful to be at this moment.
In order for us to continue without limitations this season I have one simple request: I am personally asking each of you to honor the current State of Illinois guidelines that require face masks when you come to enjoy athletic events on campus and off site facilities such as the bowling center. Masks are required regardless of vaccination status. Please remember to bring a mask for you and other spectators from your family and wear it while at the event. I am also asking your help to communicate this message to any family or friends you know will be coming to games to support your students. Lake Park staff working the event will politely remind you of this and I ask that you please comply with their requests.
Finally, I wanted to make you aware of one change you will notice for our home games at Lake Park and away games at our partner Dukane Conference schools. Food will no longer be allowed in gyms or competition areas. Concessions will be available, but we ask that you enjoy your food in a designated eating area where you can remove your mask to eat. Once finished eating please put your mask back on to return to the gym. Sealable beverage containers will be allowed in the gym areas. Thank-you in advance for your cooperation and understanding and I look forward to seeing all of you this winter season.
