UPDATE for ATHLETIC Practices and Competitions
Dear Huskies,
We hope that you are all doing as well as can be expected, and that you are staying healthy. At this time of year, we would normally be in the midst of our busy and exciting Spring sports season. As you well know, that is not the case this year, as we do our best to navigate these unfamiliar times.
We want all of you to know that Oak Park and River Forest High School, and the Athletic Department continue to place our students at the center of all our decision-making. We continue to work diligently towards the hope of a return to practices and competitions, however at this time I must inform you that all athletic events and activities of any kind are suspended through April 30. Please be mindful that this situation remains fluid, and we will continue to keep you informed when we have updates.
We want to encourage you to continue to adhere to appropriate social distancing guidelines, and to not gather in groups to practice informally during this time. We also want to encourage you to continue to stay virtually connected to your teammates and coaches as much as possible.
