Second 2019-20 National Letter of Intent Signing Day

The Second National Letter of Intent Signing Day for 2019-2020 will be Wednesday, February 5th.  We will have our signing ceremony just inside the entry of Door 38 on the football stadium side of the school at 4 pm.  If you are an OHS athlete that is committed to a college for athletics and are prepared to do your signing, please contact Mr. Howard in the Athletic Office by February 4th.  Parents, coaches, and family are invited to the event, please have the signing student wear a shirt or hat from the college.  Please enter the school via Door 38 after 3:45 pm and please be on time as we will begin as close to  4 pm as possible.  You are welcome to stay and take pictures after our ceremony is concluded.  Congratulations to all who are signing!

JV Team Finishes 2nd at Sycamore Invite!

The Panther JV squad's hard work paid off at Mardi Gras Lanes in DeKalb as the team was consistently solid all day long.  All six games saw OHS come close to or top the 700-mark.  The morning round included team scores of 681, 699, and 734 for a morning series of 2,114.  Sophomore Lexi Dellaca was high for the Panthers with a 489 morning series and not far behind was junior Mac Donahue with 458 in the morning.  

Oswego shot better in the afternoon with team scores of 723, 746, and 711 to finish the afternoon with 2,180 and a total of 4,294 on the day which was good for 2nd place and their highest finish on the season.  Sophomore Sydney Kuntzman's 495 series was high for Oswego in the afternoon.  In the end, Dellaca was high series at 948 followed by Donahue (902), Kuntzman (892), Alysa Vaughn (791), and Nia Wilkins-Jones (761).  Dellaca earned a 5th place medal for her efforts at the tournament.
