Second 2019-20 National Letter of Intent Signing Day

The Second National Letter of Intent Signing Day for 2019-2020 will be Wednesday, February 5th.  We will have our signing ceremony just inside the entry of Door 38 on the football stadium side of the school at 4 pm.  If you are an OHS athlete that is committed to a college for athletics and are prepared to do your signing, please contact Mr. Howard in the Athletic Office by February 4th.  Parents, coaches, and family are invited to the event, please have the signing student wear a shirt or hat from the college.  Please enter the school via Door 38 after 3:45 pm and please be on time as we will begin as close to  4 pm as possible.  You are welcome to stay and take pictures after our ceremony is concluded.  Congratulations to all who are signing!

Panthers Take 2 Points from Joliet West

The Panthers had a slow start in game one of the match as they put up a team score of 829 to Joliet West's 982.  Savanna Jourdan led the team in the first game with a solid 201 and Lani Breedlove contributed with a nice 183.  In game two, Oswego saw a big game from Lexi Dellaca whose score of 256 was a personal best and helped the team shoot 941 to best the Tigers by 2 pins as the team took two points to tie up the match.  The Panthers had another good score in the final game of the match and put up 903 which included solid games by Breedlove (205), Katelyn Watson (192), Jourdan (183) and Dellaca (179).  Despite a good final game by Oswego, the Panthers won the game by 3 pins and went on to win the series and match by a score of 8 to 2.  

Dellaca shot 582 on the night and was high bowler for OHS, and not far behind were Jourdan (564) and Breedlove (560).  Also contributing for Oswego was Watson (517), Evelyn James (427) and Lily Ratledge (411).
