Home of the Comets, Reed-Custer High School is a comprehensive high school of roughly 500 students and is located about 30 minutes south of Joliet, IL in the city of Braidwood. RCHS students come from the communities of Braidwood, Custer Park, Essex, Godley, and parts of Wilmington.
RCHS is an IHSA member school and a member of the Illinois Central Eight Conference. We offer baseball, boys and girls basketball, competitive cheerleading, football, boys and girls golf, boys and girls soccer, softball, boys and girls track and field, girls volleyball, and wrestling. We also offer a number of IHSA sponsored activities including bass fishing, scholastic bowl, and speech. We also boast an award-winning marching and pep band. Reed-Custer High School is a vibrant community full of dedicated administrators, teachers, coaches, students, and parents. We strive every day to provide excellence in education, outfitting our graduates with the tools to be successful in today's society.
