Attention 2020 Senior Student Athletes
The Athletic Booster Club will award eight (8) $1,250 scholarships to graduating senior athletes. The scholarships are in recognition of athletic participation and achievement during your time at A.A. Stagg High School and will be awarded at Senior Scholarship Night on Wednesday May 13, 2020.
2020 Athletic Booster Scholarship applications are due by Friday April 10th.

  • Student athlete’s family must be a 2019-2020 Athletic Booster Club member and have been an Athletic Booster Club member for a minimum of 2 years.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.75 at the end of 7 semesters.
  • Participate in a sport during the student athlete’s senior graduating year.
  • Must attend college/trade or vocational school during the 2020-2021 academic year.

Varsity Girls Basketball Takes Down The T-Bolts

The Varsity Girls Basketball Teamopened SWSC Red Divison play by taking down their District 230 rivals, the Andrew T-Bolts, with a convincing 19 point win on Tuesday night in Tinley Park.  Stagg came out firing against the always tough T-Bolts, running out to a 9-2 lead.  At the end of 8 minutes Stagg held a 16-10 lead.  The Chargers clamped down on defense in the 2nd quarter, allowing Andrew only 6 points for a 25-16 halftime lead.  In the 3rd quarter, it was the offense on display, as the Chargers erupted for 21 points for a 46-25 lead entering the final 8 minutes.  

Leading the way was Gail Korbitz with a game high 17 points.  Laila Barakat also reached double figures with 10 points, and Kelsey Dwyer had 7 as all 12 Chargers saw significant action.  

The Chargers are now 8-11 overall, and 1-0 in the SWSC Red
