Varsity Girls Basketball Dominates Reavis

The Varsity Girls Basketball Team turned in a dominating performance on both ends of the floor in their non-conference home game vs. the Reavis Rams Saturday morning.  The Chargers jumped on top right from the start and never let up, leading 14-7 at the end of 1 quarter.  In the 2nd, Kate Murray's back to back layups blew the game wide open as the Chargers led at the break, 28-10.  In the 3rd, Laila Barakat's no look passes thrilled the crowd as the Chargers withstood a small run by the always tough minded Rams.  In the 4th quarter, it was all Chargers as they shutout the Ram offense and scored 12 points of their own for the final score.

Gail Korbitz led all scorers with 22 points.  For the 2nd straight game, all 11 available Chargers played, and 10 dented the scorebook, as the Chargers won their 3rd game in a row.

Stagg is now 11-14 on the season.
