Varsity Bowling Highlights 2018 - 2019:

The 2018- 2019 Bowling season was compiled of 17 participating girls including of 2 seniors, 4 juniors, 3 sophomores, and 8 freshmen.

Our Varsity team finished off the regular season with 8 losses and 2 wins. Finishing 8th out of 10 teams in the GCAC Conference Tournament. Our Varsity Bowling participated in Regionals and earned 7th place while both seniors, Tabitha Mucci and Bridget Stumbris advanced to Sectionals. Tabitha Mucci (‘19) led our team with a 137 average, and a high game of 206. Bridget Stumbris (‘19) followed close behind with a 135 average, and a high game of 190. Our standout junior, Alyssa Bennett finished her season with a 135 average as well, and just missed qualifying for IHSA Sectionals by 7 pins. We ended our season with our winter banquet on Wednesday, February 27th where all 6 Varsity Bowlers were honored. Tabitha Mucci (‘19) and Bridget Stumbris (‘19)  were given CO- MVP Awards. Caitlyn Wirkiowski (‘20), Alyssa Bennett, (‘20) Isabella Morini (‘20) and Colleen Stumbris (‘21) were all given the Trinity Award. The girls created a fun, loving, close knit environment this season. We will continue to work hard during our off season on the lanes.

Our JV team finished their season with 7 losses and 1 win. Finishing 5th out of 8 teams at the GCAC Conference Tournament. JV ended their season in celebration at our Winter Award Banquet. Cyanne Alvarez (‘22) earning the MVP Award, Rebecca Cormack (‘22) earning the Trinity Award, and lastly, Nicole Ciserella (‘21) earning Most Improved Award. The JV team is very young and is improving and learning everyday.  Our team goal for bowling this season was to first and foremost be a good teammate, build together, and make improvements everyday! All our goals were met this year, the Blazer bowling girls are having fun, and knocking down pins while they do it!
