IHSA Temporarily Pauses All Sports

In alignment with the IDPH Tier 3 mitigations, the IHSA suspended all high school sports on Friday, November 20. A limited number of sports - bowling, cheer, dance, and boy’s swimming and diving - were previously permitted to continue with their winter season. All in person activity from these sports will remain on “pause” until the state determines it is safe to move forward. 


The IHSA Board of Directors will continue plotting out potential paths for IHSA sport and activity participation through the remainder of the school year. When these decisions are made the outcomes will be discussed locally and shared to our student-athletes and families. YHS vs. Minooka

Nice win for tonight for the Lady Foxes over the Minooka Indians 207-233. We celebrated our only Senior Alexis Nelson for her 4 years of being a golfer at YHS. We will miss her but look forward to following her future adventures. 

Mia Natividad was the top medalist with a score of 40 next was Alexis Nelson with a 50 and rounding out the field were Madeline Battaglia 57, Laine Leonard 60.  We are currently 2 - 2 in the season.
